He is still alive, the lonly beach-section on phuket and this in combination with a possibility for direct beach diving and of course fast connections to all other famoust dive highlights around Phuket.
You feel quickly at home in this primary atmosphere  and latest at the 2nd day you will meet some nice people at one of the beautiful and simple beach-bars and then enjoy a tasteful Singha- or Chang-beer and enjoy the sundown. One of the famoust bars at Nai Yang ist the KÖBI Bar which is named by his owner Mr. Köbi, here you can get perfekt Cocktails, drinks, lunch, dinner and some incredible storys from Köbi and his family !! You wan to believe him -- mmh it´sup to you ! Köbi himself will drive you wherever you want around the island in an airconditioned Opel Zafira, also you can get a romantic candle-light-dinners at the beach - everything is possible. So, if you like to dance - because that´s not possible at Nai Yang Beach, you must drive to the touristic “getto” Patong and one´s famous nightlife. The ride to Patong takes around 20-30 Minutes and the costs for an one-way trip = approximately arround 1000-1200 Baht per Taxi or Tuk-Tuk. !!!
In the evening you´ve to go to the famous WAT Bar (named to the owner WAT) where you can celebrate barfeet every evening amazing partys in the bar or beach until dawn. As even an good bar recommodation is the sunset Bar with the friendly owner Yom close to the Beach Club.

Accomodations at Nai Yang Beach ???

Her you´ve different choices, for example the brandnew renovated luxury Indigo-Pearl Hotel & Spa (ca. 5500 Baht per room !!) or the Nai Yang Beach Resort (ca. 1000 - 2500 Baht per room) - but here many different furnishing and with or without AC. This Nai Yang Beach Resort is not a real Hotel but rather much more a nice Bungalow-Resort near the Beach - please remark- it is a older bungalow resort !!.
If you like a small and beautiful alternate you should book the Phuket Airport Resort phuketairportresort.com/, only 200 meters from the beach - brandnew bungalows located arround the pool, with all you need - it not soooo cheap but one of the finest bungalows at Nai Yang Beach !

All above hotels and resorts are located near the beach with this combined with first-class Thai-Restaurants - very simpel at the beach, that means: leave your shoes at home, enjoy the sand, look at the sea and then drink your Singha or Chang-Beer or of course a tropical cocktail - cheers ! After this your way back to your room will be mostly difficult and much to late - hopefully not so much drunken !!!

So Phuket is the perfect combination, when you are searching for beautiful beaches and Thai-Flair, you can get everything you want, that means: you can have the nontouristic lonliness suburbs or a short drive further to a first-class nightlive !
Our last stay here was in April 2007 and you could believe after Tsunami, everything was rebuildet and very fine ! We´ve lived in a new build bungalow it´s called “Eco-Guesthouses” - this one is arround 500 meters away from the beach, but you´ve everything you need in the clean rooms: big rooms, AC, big refrigerator and breakfast the whole day. The price ist very cheap (700-900 Baht per Bungalow) and you get a personal service.

Also a god alternate is the Pen & Siri guesthouse located directly behind the Indigo pearl Hotel (200 meters from the beach) with new rooms and A/C for only approx. 800-1000 baht (2 rooms with balcony available).

Let´s go diving at Nai Yang Beach:

Within the Nai Yang Nationalpark, in the north-west Phuket´s under the leadership of Caroline are the Aqua One - with the best service from Croline and Dam.

The Diving Center ist located directly on the beach only a few steps from the waterline - less than 90 ft. It has gained a fine reputation and a growing number of divers from all around the world because of the famoust Aqua divers long years ago !

The dive center is equipped with the latest diving gear and related facilities. Of course you can rent UW-digital cameras, dive computer, uw-scooter !

In front of the waterline waits the comfortable boat to bring you in a few minutes to the reefs and dive spots in the national park - so you can dive whenever you want ! The house-reefs can be reached in just 5-10 minutes, the wonderful Khao Whae dive spot can be reached in just 30 Minutes - here we prefer a 2-tank dive with a small snack and drink on the boat !

Every one of these various dive spots is well worth seeing. At a depth of 18-54 ft, the gardens of stone corals and soft corals are home to a rich diversity of marine life. Colorful schools of fish, rays, turtles, squids, and a multitude of other inhabitants make these dive spots a special attraction for you. Several species of nudibranch and other rare creatures like the Ornate Ghostpipefish can regularly be here spotted and delight underwater naturalists and photographers alike.
